Terms of service.

These are the rules of using HR Assist. By signing up, you agree to them. We've kept them as short as we reasonably could.

Effective date: 1 January 2026

1. The agreement

When you create a workspace, you ("Customer") enter into an agreement with HR assist Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us"). These terms, plus our privacy policy and DPA, are the full agreement between us.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe. You're responsible for what the people you invite into your workspace do with it. If you spot unauthorized access, email info@hrassistconsulting.com immediately.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use HR Assist to store illegal content, spam people, attempt to break our security, reverse-engineer the product, or interfere with other customers' use of the service. Don't resell the service without written permission.

4. Fees and payment

Grove is billed monthly in advance, in INR, based on the number of active employees in your workspace on the first of the month. Canopy is billed per your custom contract. Late payments beyond 15 days may result in workspace suspension; beyond 60 days, termination.

5. Service level

We target 99.9% monthly uptime for Grove and up to 99.99% for Canopy (per contract). If we miss the SLA, eligible customers get service credits as described in the security page.

6. Your data

You own your data. We have a limited license to process it solely to provide the service. You can export it or delete your workspace at any time.

7. Intellectual property

We own the HR Assist product, brand, and code. You own everything you upload. Don't copy or clone our product.

8. Termination

You can cancel anytime from workspace settings. We can terminate for material breach of these terms with 14 days' notice (or immediately for serious abuse). On termination, data retention follows the privacy policy.

9. Warranties and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. If the changes are material, we'll email workspace owners 30 days in advance. Continued use after that means you accept the new terms.
